Grand Teton and Yellowstone National Parks are open to the public on a limited basis. Grand Teton Public Affairs Officer Denise Germann says visitors to the park should come prepared to be largely self-sufficient.
Germann also points out that the park has been closed to the public since March 24th and wildlife has had the run of the park and may be found closer to areas where they would be normally shy of the public. Consequently, she says be prepared for any possible encounters, keep your distance and “pack your patience.” Meanwhile, she assures that services will gradually increase as the summer goes on.
Both Grand Teton and Yellowstone open their entrances stations at noon.
