Teton County/Jackson Parks and Recreation Department and Teton County School District have announced the pathway between the Giant’s Field and the School District bus parking area that runs north/south will be closed starting today. The closure will facilitate the construction of a new indoor batting facility replacing the current outdoor batting cage in that location. The pathway closure is being affected in the interest of public safety during the construction. Officials say the pathway will not reopen until mid to late March. The pathway to the south that intersects with Gregory Lane and around Flat Creek Business Center will be kept plowed through the rest of the winter for those walking to school.
