Several hundred people gathered at the Teton County Fairgrounds yesterday afternoon and walked en-masse to the Jackson Town Square. There, they listened to a variety of speakers who spoke about people of color apparently being profiled by police in traffic stops. Some passers by demonstrated their disapproval of the gathering in passive-aggressive ways, but otherwise the gathering was peaceful. Overall, the group added their voices to an international call for better relations between police agencies and people of color.
