Twenty-four dog teams from across North America are headed to the starting line of this year’s Pedigree Stage Stop Race. Now in our 26th season, we’ll be in Jackson Hole Wyoming for the Pre-race veterinary exams and drivers’ meeting today.
Before the competition starts, all dogs must undergo a physical examination performed by the Stage Stop veterinary team. Only dogs in good health will be allowed to participate in the competition.
The dogs participating in the competition must have current rabies vaccinations as well as a number of other standard vaccines set forth in the race rules.
The race itself begins in Alpine Saturday and concludes February 6thback in Teton County, Wyoming.
