Two Public Workshops are planned today focusing on Future Zoning of Town Square. Jackson Planning Director Tyler Sinclair explains that the planning department wants to get a feel for what the public considers historic preservation and just what is thought of as western culture. Specifically, he says the town’s focus is on preserving the western character of the town square area.
Sinclair says he considers the time for this study to be perfect given the public’s focus on historic preservation with such efforts as the Save the Block campaign. He says people should bring their ideas to the table in a very open and creative atmosphere.
The two workshops take place at Snow King’s Grand View Lodge from Noon until 2:00 pm or from 6:00 until 8:00 pm.
