The Jackson Police Department will be getting an assist from the Sublette County Sheriff’s Office as staff shortages have impacted staffing of Airport Security positions.
In 2018 the Town entered into an agreement with Lincoln County to help during a period when the department was experiencing a shortage of officers.
The Town finds itself in a similar situation this season with four vacancies currently on staff. Chief Todd Smith reached out to Sublette County with the same request and they are willing join Lincoln County to provide officers for Airport duties.
