The Jackson Police Department is requesting the public’s assistance in identifying a person believed to be responsible for the theft of a purse at the Cowboy Bar on October 19th, at approximately 12:26 am. The subject was caught on camera taking an unattended purse from the bar area, then to the men’s restroom where the majority of its contents were taken and the purse was disposed of. The subject appears to be a male of Latin decent, 20-30 years of age, wearing a leather jacket and white tee shirt, and he appears to have long black hair pulled back into a pony tail. Anyone with any information on the identity of this individual, is asked to call the police department at 733-1430, or report it to Crimestoppers at 733-5148.
