Sometimes a policeman’s day brings something more rewarding than traffic stops and calls to disorderly conduct. Officers from the Jackson Police Department this weekend responded to a report of a puppy who had gotten his head stuck in a decorative cinderblock fence. After chiseling out the concrete surrounding police were able to free the pup’s head, he was returned to his owners none the worse for the wear.
