The Teton County Board of Commissioners has voted to end public access restrictions at County Buildings which includes parts of the recreation center. Parks and Recreation will be opening for lap swimming only starting next Tuesday. The rec center will operate under reduced hours from 6:00 am to 2:00 pm Monday through Friday. According to public health guidelines, social distancing precautions will require only one swimmer permitted per lane. As a result of limited space, swimmers must reserve their lane and time slot ahead of time either online or by telephone. All interested swimmers must have an active account in order to register. Registration begins today. To register go to tetonparksandrec.org and click on register on the left-hand side of the page. Meanwhile, the steam room, sauna, hot tub, and therapy pool will remain closed, locker rooms will remain closed, and patrons are encouraged to arrive with proper attire on, or under their other clothing. Three changing tents will be provided on the pool deck.
