With the seasonal increase in packages being delivered to homes, residents are urged to take measures to prevent those packages from being pilfered from the porch. Options include tracking your packages, having packages delivered at work or being picked up directly from FedEx or UPS facilities or the post office, requiring a signature for delivery, or setting up a security camera trained on your front porch. Insurance Quotes dot Com estimates that about 8% of the US population say they’ve had a package stolen from a porch or doorstep during the holidays.
