(Teton Village, Wyo., March 28, 2015) Today at Jackson Hole Mountain Resort (JHMR) a skier collapsed on Lower Gros Ventre trail while competing in the alpine ski portion of the Pole Peddle Paddle (PPP) Race. A resort employee witnessed the woman falling at approximately 8:24 am, and she was found unresponsive with no pulse. Ski Patrol arrived on the scene and immediately started life support efforts. The patient was transported to the St. John’s Clinic in Teton Village at approximately 8:41 am. And at approximately 9:59 am the patient was flown to Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center for further treatment.
