Problem Wyoming grizzly moved

Another misbehaving grizzly bear in northwestern Wyoming has faced deportation. Wyoming Game and Fish says after consultation with the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, Game and Fish biologists relocated a sub-adult male grizzly bear on July 16^th.

The bear was captured for conflict with anthropogenic attractants on private land, but no information was offered regarding where the bear was captured. Ultimately, it was relocated to the Fox Creek area approximately 8 miles from the northeast entrance of Yellowstone National Park.

 Game and Fish explains that bears are relocated in accordance with state and federal law and regulation, and only if the bear is not considered a threat to human safety. In such cases, an aggressive bear may be removed from the population if it cannot be relocated successfully.
