Rendezvous Park is partnering with the Village Road Coalition, an organization committed to the promotion of wildlife protection along highway corridors, to install a reflective moose cut-out near the park. The artwork itself is being launched through a partnership between local artist Bland Hoke and Jackson Hole Public Art as part of a new Wildlife Crossing Initiative. Moose habitually cross all along the Highway 390 corridor in order to access the safe space with bountiful food at the R-Park, which makes the animals vulnerable collision with vehicles nearby. The moose art purchased by the Village Road Coalition is one of the first to be produced through the new initiative.
