Ready, Set, GO! was launched as the new evacuation and wildfire preparedness terminology in 2017 throughout Teton County. The terminology was used to direct the public in this summer’s Museum and Saddle Butte wildland fires. And while the program has been effective, Teton County Emergency Management would like to continue to educate the public on what it means to be Ready, to be Set, and to GO!, because this terminology is not only used for wildland fires, but also for all-hazards incidents, including haz-mat, floods, or hazardous conditions.
The public is invited to join us for an informational session to learn what the community needs to know when they hear the words, “Ready”, “Set”, and “Go!” The two-part session will take place on Thursday, November 7, 2019 at the Teton County Administration Building (200 S. Willow Street) in the Board of County Commissioners Chambers. Help us build a more resilient community by attending and spreading the word – free pizza is included!
