Due to upgrades to the electrical system and baler at the Recycling Center, recycling services will be temporarily suspended in Teton County from April 22nd through April 26th. All sites, including the Recreation Center, the Rodeo Grounds, Albertsons, Teton Village, Spring Gulch, the Aspens, Hoback, and the Recycling Center will have bins removed or be unserved until April 27th.
The Recycling Center requests that the public and businesses hold their recycling until staff are again able to service the community recycling sites. Also included in this closure are specialty recycling like batteries, shredding, paperback and hardback books, textiles, small scrap metal, and electronics found at the Recycling Center. Commercial cardboard service will remain unaffected but the cardboard will be stored in trucks until the baler is operational once again.
