If you have something to be recycled before Christmas, you will need to do that quick. The Teton County Recycling Center will be closed on Monday, December 24th and Tuesday, December 25th for the Christmas Holiday. The center will also be closed Monday, January 1st for New Year’s Day. Meanwhile, the Trash Transfer Station will remain open for regular business hours on Monday, December 24th but will be closed on Tuesday, December 25th and Tuesday, January 1st. No commercial unloading will be available. As always, outdoor recycling bins at the Recycling Center and throughout the community are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. With Christmas gift-giving, there will likely be a surplus of boxes and the staff urges people recycling boxes to flatten them to make room for the boxes that will be brought in. The staff also asks that if bins are full, please don’t leave recyclables on the ground. Bins will be emptied on the following business day.
