Paws of Jackson Hole is now offering a $5500 reward for information leading to the arrest and prosecution of the person responsible for the ibuprofen-laced hotdogs distributed around May Park on Friday. At least two dogs ingested the poisoned hotdogs, but fortunately were promptly treated by veterinarians and made to regurgitate the harmful pills.
Consequently, their prognosis is good. Meanwhile, Jackson Police continue their investigation of the incident and urge dog-owners to be vigilant as they walk their dogs in the area. Anyone who might have clues to the identity of the person or persons responsible, including footage from nearby “Ring” doorbells, are urged to call the police department, or CrimeStoppers at 733-5148. The Paws reward has been made possible through the generosity of concerned donars.
