Teton County Health officer Travis Riddell says Governor Mark Gordon is completely inaccurate when he says masks, while helpful, are not a solution.
Gordon made the comment in a press conference last week where he hinted that more restrictive health orders could be coming from the state.
In spite of the existing mask mandate in Teton County, Riddell said we are losing the battle against COVID-19 in Teton County.
Riddell, in a coronavirus update meeting Friday, said it’s ironic that theatres, restaurants, bars, and gyms are open while schools are closed and while he is asking for permission to limit any gatherings to 10 people, transmission is happening in much smaller groups.
