Paving will commence today on east Pearl and south King Street, requiring the closure of those streets until the slated completion of the project May 24th. Specifically, the areas affected are East Pearl Avenue between South Cache Street and South Willow Street and South King Street between East Broadway Avenue and East Pearl Avenue.
During the road closures, bicycle and vehicle traffic are required to use alternate routes. Pedestrian access through the construction zone will be allowed at all times on the sidewalks.Motorists are also urged to heed the parking restrictions in the area while the work is taking place. Work hours are weekdays, 7:00 am to 7:00 pm.
