More construction in Jackson is planned starting today. This time, the work is to be done on North Jean Street to accommodate sewer, water and gas service to a private development there. A road closure will take place today to accommodate excavation between 7:00 am and 7:00 pm. Motorists, Bicyclists and Pedestrians alike are advised to seek alternate routes in the vicinity of this construction activity. All should be aware of, and obey all construction notification, detour and parking restriction signage as it is there for their own safety and the safety of the construction workers.
