Although there are those, including some websites claiming Jackson is a sanctuary city, local officials insist it is not. Consequently, legislation being brought to the Wyoming State Legislature should not impact the community. Natrona County Representative Chuck Gray has introduced HB108, a ban on sanctuary cities and counties. If passed, House Bill 108 would ban sanctuary cities and counties in state statute and would prevent sanctuary cities or counties from receiving state funding. So far, the bill has been received for introduction but has seen no action.
