Teton County Search and Rescue responded to a call for help just before 7:00 pm Wednesday from a woman who fell and injured her hip while hiking on a trail near the Old Pass Road. According to a posting by the organization, the crew headed out on a Side-by-Side UTV, and dispatched a ground team to assess the patient. They decided to transport the woman out of the backcountry via wheeled litter, and took her to the trailhead by 8:30 pm. From there, a friend took her to get further medical treatment. There was no word on her identity or her condition.
