Wyoming schools enrolled an additional 803 students over the past year, with 63 percent of those new students enrolled in Natrona, Laramie, and Campbell county school districts. This eclipses the gain seen during the previous year, when only 53 new students were enrolled. State Superintendent of Public Instruction Jillian Balow explains that the jump in student enrollment reflects the state’s overall population growth over the past year. This year, the state reports Teton County has enrolled 2869 students – that’s 12 fewer than reported as enrolled last year. The data was gathered from all school districts throughout the state in a snapshot performed on October 1st, 2019.
