Throughout the week this week, homes around Jackson Hole will be having information hangers placed on their front doors by the area’s Boy Scouts. These are not political candidate promotions. These hangers are being placed there to remind residents of Saturday’s annual Scouting for Food drive. Scouting for Food has been a project of the BSA for decades and involves Scouts going around town to pick up food donations placed on the doorsteps and take them to the local food bank. Specific information about how to participate in the drive and help the local scouts feed the valley’s hungry families is detailed on the door hangers.
