Teton County Search and Rescue had their first call-out of the year Friday to help an injured snowmobiler. The unidentified 25-year-old local man was evacuated from the Brush Creek area near Triangle X Ranch where he had ridden off of a roughly 30-foot cliff and landed on a flat area – hurting his back. The operation took over 15 hours, included 15 team members, and responses via snowmobile and helicopter. The rescue was completed about 2:30 Friday afternoon.
