Teton County/Jackson Parks & Recreation have opened most of their seasonal restrooms across Town/County Parks starting this week. Despite the anticipated cold overnight lows, the staff is committed to ensuring that these facilities are ready for public use.
The restrooms, crucial for the comfort of locals, visitors, and seasonal campers, will be open daily from dusk until dawn. Most facilities are equipped with automatic locks or will be manually locked and unlocked by a contractor at specific times—7 a.m. for opening and 10 p.m. for closing.
Given the high volume of usage these restrooms see during the warmer months, maintenance and cleanliness are priorities for the Parks & Recreation staff. Should any issues arise, the public is encouraged to report them directly to ensure prompt attention and resolution.
Restrooms at Powderhorn Park are being repaired and should open for the season soon.
