Another positive COVID-19 case has been reported in Teton Valley, Idaho. Yesterday, officials from Eastern Idaho Public Health said, “There is a second case in a woman under the age of 50 in Teton County. She is not hospitalized and is self isolating at home.
They reported the woman acquired the infection while traveling overseas and not through community spread.”
The first COVID-19 in Teton Valley, which was announced last Saturday was also not considered community speed as that woman reported close contact with a coronavirus infected individual in another state. They said she was confined to her home with mild symptoms.
In Lander, community spread was confirmed when a resident of the Showboat Retirement Center tested positive for the virus. Since then, more confirmed cases have been linked to the center. The Wyoming Department of Health has quarantined that facility.
