The United States Senate has officially designated July 27, 2024, as the National Day of the American Cowboy. This declaration honors the hardworking men and women who have significantly contributed to the traditions of the American West.

Bipartisan Resolution

The resolution was introduced by U.S. Senators John Barrasso and Cynthia Lummis, both Republicans from Wyoming, and received unanimous support from the Senate.
