The Teton County Health Department has launched a Shred the Spread campaign focused on supporting the community in the battle against COVID-19. Shred the Spread centers on what Teton County, Wyoming can and should do to prevent the spread of COVID-19. Key messages include washing your hands, wearing a proper 2-layer face mask, keeping a social distance of at least six feet from others, and staying home when sick, even with mild symptoms. While the familiar messages are an integral part of preventing the spread of COVID-19, the campaign aims to take a new approach: addressing the things you can do, versus only those you can’t. Teton County residents and visitors can still get out and enjoy the things that make this place special, as long as it’s done safely and within the Teton County Health Department and CDC guidelines. In addition to the messages, key elements of the campaign include highly visual graphics – including stickers and custom masks, videos featuring local influencers, and shredthespreadjh.com, where the community can access important campaign information, in one place.
