Signal Mountain Lodge Will Open With Limited Operations

May 1, 2020 by Jackson Hole Radio

Signal Mountain Lodge Will Open

Signal Mountain Lodge and Campground inside Grand Teton National Park is the latest to announce reduced operation for its 2020 season. According to Forever Resorts, the lodge will be open from June 5ththrough October 17th and open with certain operational changes, including offering limited accommodations in approximately 30 units, and to-go-only food and beverage service from its General Store. In addition, staff will no longer share living quarters and will be housed separately in observance of social distancing mandates. The company says additional services and facilities may be phased in as the season progresses. In addition to using cleaning and sanitizing chemicals recommended by the Environmental Protection Agency, Signal Mountain Lodge has implemented several additional aggressive cleaning mandates in the season ahead. The company plans to operate the Leeks Marina with no operational changes, and will operate the Signal Mountain Marina with only buoy rentals including wrangle boat and fueling services. Kayak rentals may be available on a limited basis. The Leeks Pizzeria will not open in 2020. Motorized boat rentals will NOT be available in 2020. The announcement by Forever Resorts comes on the heels of announcements by Vail Resorts and Xanterra Parks and Resorts of reduced openings at their properties in Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Parks.
