(Teton Village, Wyo., December 28, 2014) It is with regret that Jackson Hole Mountain Resort (JHMR) reports a skier was fatally injured at the ski area earlier today.
At approximately 3:10 pm, a male was discovered inverted in the snow in Brush Gully, a run below the Beaver Tooth spilt. Jackson Hole Ski Patrol and a physician arrived on the scene and performed life support efforts. The victim was transported to the St. John’s Clinic in Teton Village at approximately 3:30 pm, and was pronounced dead at 3:50 pm.
“The staff at Jackson Hole Mountain Resort join me in expressing our deepest sympathies to the family and friends of the victim,” commented Jerry Blann, President of JHMR.
