The 2019 Pedigree Stage Stop Sled Dog Race is in need of 25-30 people from 5:00 -8:00 pm January 25th to help cover intersections and parking for the start of the 24th annual race. This year there are 26 mushers registered from throughout the United States and Canada. Volunteers will meet at the Antler Arch by the Stage Coach Building and be deployed to the intersection or parking lot between there and the Snow King Events Center for which they have signed up. The volunteers will man an intersection to prevent cars from hitting anyone when the musher and dogs come through. The race runs on the sides of the streets on Broadway, Redmond and Snow King. Under the permit from the Jackson Police Department all the intersections along the way must be manned. Each volunteer will be issued a voucher for dinner on the square from the race food vendor. Anyone interested in volunteering may contact the race organizers at Secretary@wyomingstagestop.org .
