No damage was caused Sunday afternoon when a small tornado touched down near Bone due east of Firth, Idaho. The National Weather Service says EF0 touched down at about 4:00 pm and witnesses reported on social media that it was not on the ground for very long before dissipating.
The Weather Service said it’s received photos showing that the tornado touching down but got no reports of any damage and had no estimate of its size. Warnings were issued late Sunday in eastern Idaho and Western Wyoming for severe weather with high winds and hail possible.
