The Wyoming Department of Transportation (WYDOT) will start paving the new bridge deck on the Snake River Bridge along Wyoming State Highway 22 on April 15, 2025. To allow a loader and concrete truck to access the site, crews will briefly stop traffic near the bridge at 10 a.m. for approximately 5 to 10 minutes. WYDOT advises drivers to avoid the construction zone during this time if possible or to prepare for delays in the morning hours. While the closure is expected to be short, traffic may move more slowly afterward.
The project is progressing toward a key milestone: pouring the remaining half of the new bridge deck by the end of June. Crews will also apply an epoxy overlay, which may extend work beyond the planned completion date. Weather and other factors could lead to last-minute schedule changes, but WYDOT is committed to keeping the public informed. Updates on the ongoing construction at the WYO 22/WYO 390 intersection and Snake River Bridge are available on the project’s dedicated website.
