As the snow continues across Western Wyoming, the accumulations are finally exceeding the seasonal norm at the snow measuring sites. The total precipitation in the Snake River Basin is now 103% of average with a water content that is 110% of normal. The Madison/Gallatin basin now has 105% of the normal snowfall for the season with a water content that is 120% of the norm, and the Wind River basin has only 92% of the normal snow accumulation but it contains 108% of the normal water content. Jackson Hole Mountain resort reports having received 434 inches of snow on top of the mountain this year so far settling in at 122 inches on the slopes. Grand Targhee reports having received 385 inches of snow year to date with a current depth of 112 inches on the ski slopes. Snow King mountain has received 150 inches since the beginning of the season settling in at 59 inches on the upper mountain slopes.
