A near-record snowfall in southeastern Wyoming has forced the interruption of state business today. Due to ongoing blizzard conditions, the Wyoming Legislature will not convene, and the LSO will be closed.
The Wyoming Game and Fish Commission is also cancelling its March meeting in Cody. The powerful winter storm forced the closure of a 250-mile stretch of Interstate 80 on Saturday night.
Later that evening, it closed the entire stretch of Interstate 25 in Wyoming, which runs from Buffalo to the Colorado border. It is hoped to have the interstate’s reopened sometime today.
