The summer season is kicking off this weekend at Snow King Mountain Resort. The Cowboy Coaster, Alpine Slide, Treetop adventure, Miniature Golf, Amaze’n Maze, and King’s Grill all open on Friday with hours of operation for the early summer season from 10:00a m – 5:00 pm daily.
Big King passes for a full day of activity on the mountain are available online in advance of your visit. This summer Snow King is undertaking several improvement projects on the mountain, including the construction of a new 8 passenger gondola to the summit, a new fixed grip quad ski lift on the sunny south side of the mountain, a new beginner ski zone at the summit with two magic carpet conveyors, a new easy way down ski route and access road from the summit, extensive snowmaking enhancements, and a top to bottom zip-line experience.
So far, the Scenic Summit Lift has been removed as part of gondola construction, but it is still possible to take a scenic lift ride on the Rafferty Lift. Visitors should anticipate hiking trail closures this summer season due to construction activities.
