Teton County Idaho Search and Rescue was dispatched for an injured snowmobiler on the summit of Beards Mountain just over the state line in Wyoming Saturday. One of the organization’s team members was by chance on scene, and called for Air Methods Heli assist. Teton County Idaho Fire and Rescue responded to the trailhead to assist. Rescue personnel say the patient ultimately was evacuated from the summit by helicopter while the rest of the team was preparing to respond.
