The 7th Annual Summer Solstace Celebration at the R-Park this year will be a bit out of the ordinary. Due to social distancing protocols, the event will be virtual, but still be a celebration with music, food, fun, and adventure. Participants can support Jackson Hole Land Trust’s Community Conservation by ordering a StreetFood taco package with Sloshies from Jackson Hole Still Works included as an option. Packages range from single, double, or family, but it was announced yesterday afternoon that orders must be placed by noon today. It will be available for pick up tomorrow from 4 until 7 pm at R Park. A solstice portrait will be shot at that time and uploaded post-event for download with an optional donation encouraged. The participants can head home and tune into an Instagram live stream with DJ Whipple providing music.
