An important road network link for residents in Alta will soon be ready for use. The construction project on Stateline Road between 5000-North and 6000-North is nearing completion after being inaccessible for many years. The project includes reconstruction of approximately one mile of road and a bridge installation at South Leigh Creek. That bridge was damaged in the 1990’s. Stream restoration work on South Leigh Creek is also part of the project and providing vegetation mitigation and improving aquatic habitat in areas where the creek had been damaged by vehicles driving through it for many years. To celebrate the completion of the project, members of the public are invited to join Teton County Commissioners, staff, stakeholders and contractors for a ribbon cutting ceremony today at 1:00 PM.
