The Teton County/Jackson Parks & Recreation department will close the access road to the South Park Boat Ramp for tree removal on Thursday, November 9, 2023. The ramp will be off-limits for boat launch or retrieval during the operation, which will last throughout the daylight hours.
Parking and restrooms in the upper lot will still be open to the public. If the work spills over to Friday, the contractor will provide ramp access with only short delays expected.
The department is working to keep the area safe and thanks the community for their patience. For more information, contact Andy Erskine at aerskine@tetoncountywy.gov.
