Special Olympics, Wyoming has written a thank-you letter to the Jackson community which has been distributed through the Jackson Hole Chamber of Commerce. The letter cites the town and county for all the support during February 4th-6th for the 2020 State Winter Games. In the letter, Director of Competition and Training Bobby Casey wrote, “From the Torch Run through downtown to the final run down the slopes of Jackson Hole Mountain Resort, the excitement and hospitality throughout the Jackson community did not go unnoticed. This year’s games brought in 180 athletes, 45 coaches, and over 100 volunteers, partners, and families.” Moreover, Casey says the state Special Olympics looks forward to continuing this partnership in the coming year and can’t wait to return to Jackson February 2nd-4th for the 2021 Winter Games.
