It’s November 15th, and in Teton County, that means the seasonal speed limit has been implemented again on Wyoming Highway 22 between Jackson and Wilson. Specifically, the speed limit on Highway 22 between Jackson and Wilson has been reduced from 55 MPH to 45 MPH. Even at that, Wyoming Highway Patrol Lt. Matt Brackin points out that there may be times that weather conditions dictate that motorists will need to reduce their speeds even further for the sake of safe travel. Additionally, no semi trailers will be allowed on Teton Pass during the winter season. These restrictions will remain in effect until April 1st. After that, the restriction may be activated and lifted depending upon weather conditions. As always, the highway department reminds drivers and their passengers need to be buckled up while on the roads.
