Have you figured out how to occupy yourself while sequestered at home during the COVID-19 crisis? A shortage of masks being felt by health providers around the country, is also impacting the hospital at St. John’s Health. St. John’s emergency department nurse Keegan Pfiel is leading an effort to recruit community members to sew 1,000 masks for healthcare works at St. John’s. Anyone who might be interested in talking to him to learn more about why he’s doing this and what’s involved should call him at 307-690-5599. Meanwhile, an online presence is being established on the St John’s Health Foundation website with more information in order to expedite the project.
