A shortage of masks being felt by health providers around the country, is also impacting the hospital at St. John’s Health. St. John’s emergency department nurse Keegan Pfiel is leading an effort to recruit community members to sew 1,000 masks for healthcare works at St. John’s. Meanwhile, an online presence is being established on the St John’s Health Foundation website with more information in order to expedite the project.
