St. John’s Health Board of Trustees voted yesterday to accept the resignation of Chief Executive Officer William Wagnon.
The Trustees named David Robertson as Interim CEO, effective immediately. Robertson is a Victor, Idaho resident, and has served as a board advisor to St. John’s for the past 3 ½ years. He has spent his career working for, and, with community and rural hospitals such as St. John’s.
Beyond his 30-year career as a health systems CEO, he led three different health systems. That was followed by an additional 10 years as a senior executive in the nation’s largest member-driven health care performance improvement company working with non-profit hospitals.
