A citizen’s study group in cooperation with the Western Transportation Institute has established the Highway 22/390 intersection as the highest priority road segment in the area to construct a wildlife-crossing structure.
The collaborative study by the Wyoming Game and Fish Department and Wyoming Department of Transportation continues in the area of Highways 390 and 22, specifically near the intersection and the Snake River Bridge. Game and Fish Spokesman Ray Hagaman says the state is very concerned about the moose mortality in that area.
