The Idaho State Police is investigating a single-vehicle fatality crash that occurred early Saturday morning, November 16, 2024, on Highway 26 near milepost 368, just west of Swan Valley.
At approximately 1:15 a.m., a 53-year-old man from Victor, Idaho, was driving a 2003 GMC pickup eastbound when the vehicle left the south shoulder of the road and struck an embankment. The driver was ejected from the vehicle and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Idaho Falls Fire Department assisted ISP at the scene. The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
