The Wyoming Department of Transportation will have the Swinging Bridge Road closed today and tomorrow to conduct some drilling and sample collection to learn about the subsurface conditions. The work will take place from 7:30 am until 6:00 pm on both days, with the road and bridge open at night during the two days. Signs will indicate when the bridge is closed. Since the work will be taking place in the single lane of travel, total traffic closure is necessary. The bridge is scheduled for replacement in 2023.
