Target Stores Spokesperson Aryn Ridge confirmed for Jackson Hole Radio yesterday that the Minneapolis-based corporation will be opening a new store in Jackson in the coming years, although she was not specific as to when. In her words, “We’re excited to bring an easy, safe and convenient shopping experience to new guests in the Jackson Hole community with this new Target store. Located at 510 US-89, the store will be approximately 70,000 square feet.” The location she cites is the now-vacant K-mart store just south of Maple Way. Ridge says as the opening date gets closer, they will share more specific details – including how the shopping experience will be tailored to serve local guests, and a specific grand opening date. The company has listed Jackson as one of 48 locations nationally they have planned to open new stores.
