Due to the recent warm temperatures, and the lack of snowfall Grand Targhee Resort is postponing the start of the season which was set to begin today. The new opening day is yet to be determined but will be based upon the conditions going forward. All eyes are on the approaching storm this Friday.
Jackson Hole Mountain Resort is slated to open for winter operations on Thanksgiving Day, continuing through April 10th. This season, it is planned to load the Aerial Tram, gondolas and chair lifts to full capacity. The lift operating schedule is determined by snow conditions.
The mountain will continue to run select base area lifts at 8:30 am, weather permitting, to allow guests to get up on the mountain earlier.
Health and safety remain a priority for all guests and staff, and the resort will adhere to the guidance from officials and adjust mountain operations and safety protocols accordingly. Snow King Mountain is scheduled to open December 4th.
